NEW 106 Million jackpot And choose my raffle

Just got done with checking my ticket right now and not a single number matched up to my slip. Frustrating? You bet, I had a good feeling about it today just like every other day actually. I have the dreams of waking up one morning, waltzing downstairs to go online and check my ticket and have all my numbers match up and solve my worlds problems. It just doesn't work like that I guess. Correction, it hasn't worked like that YET. One day it will happen. O yes, it will happen. I can almost categorize what I plan on doing with the money. I am excited however that the jackpot has now reached over 100 million dollars!! 106 million to be exact. Thats just so much on my plate I hope a miracle happens and I win it all!!! Didn't quite buy my ticket yet, but i'll be sure to find one sooner or later this weekend.

The Michigan Millionaire Raffle is fast approaching and I'm gearing up to get my tickets! All 5 of them at $20 a pop. I am curious as to how exactly I should spread the tickets out.

Should I:
a - Buy all 5 at once?
b - Buy 4 and 1 at another store?
c - Buy 3 and 2 at another store?
d - Buy 2 at one store, 2 at another and 1 at the last?
e - Buy each ticket at different stores?

I'll go with whatever someone says I should go with, I'll be taking the tallies from my comments on this post as well as emails to canowicki@yahoo.com

Maybe I'll win $1000 with all 5 tickets, or maybe i'll win $5 mill!!! Or maybe a Mill and a $1000. But I'll be pissed if I win nothing. That's $100 down the drain. But like they say, somethings you just have to risk money to make money and there's nothing more risky then playing the lottery. It's not skill, it's pure luck. It takes a special kind of man to take that kind of risk and I'll do it for the entertainment of all you peoples out there reading this!

Michigan Mega Millions Continues

Like every morning on Wednesday, I tend to stay in bed just a little longer and imagine what I could buy with all the possible money I might have just won the previous night in the Tuesday drawing. This morning was early, rising up at 6:30am to take my girl to the hospital for her appointments. Well it was freezing, as usual this week. The cold didn't take away my dreams for the possible win. As I was driving I kept imagining driving a nice luxury car that was heated up with heated seats and very roomy. I looked past my freezing '03 ion sedan's coldness, as well as it's frozen shut hood, and the salty dirt residue on my windshield. Of course I run out of fluid the day prior so I decided to put some in the next day. The next day being yesterday when my hood was frozen shut. So I rocked out with a bottle of windex and an old beach towel in the backseat. A new car. That's my first priority when I win the lottery. I'm not even going to wait for the check to come in either, I'll go straight to the dealer explain that I won the lottery and want a car. OK, that wont' happen, I'll have to wait until after I get the money to go to the dealer. Who wants to trust and unemployed person to buy some type of luxury car? A Caddy no less.

"Excuse me sir, i'm unemployed, have no money to my name. But I did just win the lottery and I haven't cashed my check yet. May I buy one of your fine automobiles?"

Ya, it won't work out that well, so I'll have to take that one last final road trip with the old Ion up to Lansing.....ah hell, I'll rock out with a limo to cash in my ticket. With style baby! Wasting money already before I get it, that's how I'll start it out.

I didn't win the lottery, I checked it out today and saw that I had nothing. Notta. Zip. Zilch. Crap. I did however stop by a 7 eleven gas station to buy another mega millions ticket before I found out my misfortune. I also picked up a Cashword Doubler $2 ticket. Using my lucky Nickel that scratched the $5 winner, I scratched it off and found out that I won double what I won off my Mega Millions ticket. Nothing. That puts me in the negatives for scratch and wins. I think I'll buy scratch and wins in bulk next time. Or at least in my favor. Odds to win were 1 in 4.86. Which means I'd need to purchase 5 tickets for an almost guaranteed chance of winning something. $10 for a chance to win $2. Doesn't sound so far does it? O well, not that big of a deal I guess. I do still plan on doing an against the odds scratch and win, where I buy the odds, ie. if it's 1 in 4.86, I round up and buy 5 tickets. I'll also be trying the theory of spending $20 on a single type of ticket sometime soon as well to see how that goes.

Next big projected pot is 91 million dollars. Holy crap that's a lot of money! It's getting up there pretty fast. You gotta love the big pots like this, they just go up faster and faster by people hoping to win that big one.

Michigan Millionaire Raffle

I haven't mentioned this yet, but a week or so ago Michigan has announced the sale of their Millionaire Raffle to start March 12, 2007. What is the Millionaire Raffle? Well they started it back in November 2006 where only 500,000 tickets were sold and a drawing was made to where:

5 people won a Million
10 people won $100,000
700 won $1,000

Quoting www.michigan.gov/lottery

"Citing the overwhelming response to the first raffle, Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters said the March game will offer 600,000 tickets at $20 each. The increased number of tickets for sale in the second Millionaire Raffle gives players a chance at more prizes. This raffle will feature six $1 million prizes, 12, $100,000 prizes, and 900, prizes of $1,000 each. Overall odds for winning a raffle prize are 1:654."

Wahoo!! That's all that came out of my mouth when I first heard that. The March game will begin the 12th and for all of you looking for the best odds around, this is the game to play. With a steep $20 ticket price, it's well worth the chance for a million dollars. Will your good buddy Cliff be playing this raffle? You know it! In fact, I'll be "investing" in 5 tickets making my overall odds of winning

$1,000,000 - 1:20,000
$100,000 - 1:10,000
$1,000 - 1:133
Winning anything: 130.8

I love those odds. A small investment of only $100. Will I be crazy enough to do it? You know what I think I just might be crazy enough to do it and i'll let all of you know how much I wind up making on this venture!!!

No Money, No Problem

So I didn't win Friday's Mega Millions valued at 65 million. That just leads me to build on the current 77 million for this Tuesdays Mega Millions Jackpot. Wahoo!! The things I could buy with the money...mmmm money. To keep things rolling nicely I've decided to start putting up the actual ticket numbers from my winning tickets to tally the total numbers used and see what comes up at the end of the year. I'll pick the top most played white ball numbers along with the mostly played MEGA ball number and you faithful John Q. Public can take that info for yourself.

Another small addition I'll be adding to this blog is RSS feeds to Michigan lottery related info. Get up to date news on whats going on. If you need any more info on anything Michigan lottery related, please visit www.michigan.gov/lottery

In other news, I got my Tuesdays ticket from the good people at 7 Eleven yesterday, not the same place as I usually do though. This one has the, I don't want to start small talk with anybody or wish you good luck for purchasing a ticket that if you win could net this place 50,000 so I can go out and buy something cool attitude. No love lost, but I won't be plugging this location.

This is a short one since there's a lot to be done right now! I will come back with more ideas and theories on lottery.

More to Scratch in a machine

I admit. I truly do. Those lottery scratch and win ticket machines are so tempting. What can't vending machines do nowadays? I was recently in Meijer today getting some supplies for dinner when there it stood in all it's glory. The scratch and win Vending machine. I basked in its glow. It's soft inviting neon lighted numbers letting me know how much I would have to invest to deserve a chance for a warm soothing ticket that could be the answer to my car payment problems.

I stuck my dollar in and choose the lowest payout game they had there for a buck which was Kitty Cash. Strange game, you get 6 scratches and at least 3 have to be the same to win said prize, or 2 and the special icon for double the amount. I scratched it off with my lucky nickel I use for the same purpose of winning. Alas, nothing. I didn't win zilch. That leaves my scratch and win earnings at $0. What can I say, It was a good run. Will I keep it up? Sure I will!! Well, not as frequently anyways until I get some money which brings me to another subject. I'll will now proceed with the whore out of this blog. That's right, I've recruited top technicians in their field of expertise!!.....or if you don't buy that, I'm putting up my paypal name to beg for money as well as putting up google adsense to generate some profit to feed my addiction.

Want to know what you can do to promote yourself and give me some money and possibly yourself some as well? Just check on the right side of the blog on the main page for future reference, but for now I'll just copy and paste:

Now i'm not asking for handouts....well ya, I really am asking for handouts to feed the addiction. Which is why I'm here to propose some business deals to all you people out there to make me some money and quite possibly yourself as well. Here's how it's going to work. It's based on giving me money via paypal and I've come up with a few ways to help me out and help you out in the process.

1.) For $1 sent, I will personally buy a scratch and win ticket on Saturday and split half the winnings with the person who sent the cash. Will it be 50 cents? Will it be $1000? Who knows! Let your good pal Cliff help your odds of winning as well as supporting my cause. Of course you'll get a personal photo of the actual ticket itself. Maybe a small video to prove it if your THAT anal about whether or not your a winner. Oh ya, and you get no say in what kind of ticket, it'll be a $1 ticket, or a $2 dollar ticket. Pending on your cashflow, i'm not going to go tracking down "Super Slot Cash Scratch" for a dollar and waste 5 bucks in gas finding it. It'll be a random generic ticket of my choice.

2.) For $1 sent, you will be mentioned in Saturdays "Shameless Plugs of the Week" in which I will make a post about all the Shameless Plugs I've put on through the week. What does that exactly mean? Well the day you send your dollar I will post and let the world know who you are and a website address where they can go to. Think of it as a nice and easy way to whore out your website. Your name, your URL and a small 20 wordish description of what it's all about. For a buck. TWICE. Once the day you send it and again that Saturday. If you send it to me on a Saturday, you get pretty much two plugs, but both in the same day.

3.) Want to be a sponsor on my blog? Let everybody know your donating to me and want your name in a hall of fame donator spot in a possible book? All you got to do is send a minimum $15 donation and that can happen!! Not convinced that's worth it? I'll put ya down every week on Saturdays "Shamless Plug of the Week" with your name, URL, small description and how much you donated.

If your interested in any of this the name you want to send all your loving hard earned money to...as well as investments, send them all too:

canowicki@yahoo.com

Send away!

P.S. Make sure to email me at that name as well to give me heads up.

Doesn't the thought of pimping out your website and giving Cliff money just give you a big warm fuzzy inside? Well it should. That's all that's on my lottery mind today, I'm waiting for the big Mega Millions jackpot tomorrow, $65 million here I come!!

Nothing and No Good....and K-Mart

I did check my lottery ticket for last Friday today....as well as yesterdays ticket for Tuesdays drawing. Each one had only 1 white ball number picked. To bad that doesn't bring anything to the table except another dollar in the red. Thats all good though, my theory will soon be proven wrong... I hope. That just means that I have to keep on playing to start making some change and not having much in the black for the first month.

I was on my way to get stuff for the baby, aka, more receiving blankets and stop by my grandparents house for some home made sheets for the cradle. Which is great for me, less stuff to wash and more time being less stressed out. Its a win win. Closest place to my grandparents house was a Super K-Mart. I'm glad this place doesn't look like most K-Marts with the yellow tinted paint that looks like they've been smoking since the 80's inside the store and never bothered to clean the walls or flooring. They did happen to have the same music though so it's not that bad. But what the hell does that have to do with the lottery? Well I never knew it before, but K-Mart actually has the option to buy lottery tickets! Who knew? Well probably a lot of people that go there just not myself. I bought the winning lottery ticket, I think, for Fridays jackpot of $65 million dollars!!

When I come to think of it, there's a lot of stuff I'd love to do with the winnings. I got to be honest, call me weird, strange or down right generous. But it came to me in a dream that I was to give half of my winnings after taxes to the St. Jude's Children Hospital. It sticks in my head, so I refuse to go back on it. Bummer if I only won $10 million, but the bigger the jackpot the better since I have more to myself. After looking over what I wanted, what I needed and what I would like to have, I looked at all the people I could possibly help. Friends and family in need for just a little help. Not flat out giving them a steady life, but I'm not sure I could easily have all this cool stuff while the people that I know are in desperate need to get their life right. I still plan on making sure I have millions of dollars don't get me wrong, after all I can't just give money to people I don't know, family I've never seen or friends that want to relive the glory days and hang out....you know the kind, those people in high school or college that were in your class for a semester that you didn't talk to but somehow got forced into a group project and they had to put up with you. Those people, all of a sudden would LOVE to be your buddy. Fuck that. That's all I got to say on that subject, more later.

I sit here, nothing won yet, but the year is still early! I got 11 more months to go to play a game of winning catch up! I think I can do it, I know I can! If all else fails, at least I got this cool book I'm going to make.

Baby and reasons for more money

It's been a time since I last posted passing on by the Friday Mega Millions. I'd like to start out by saying I had a beautiful baby boy Saturday January 27th at 11:50am name Chase weighing in at 7lbs 15oz. What more motivation for this project then the birth of a new life and having to financially take care of it.

I did not win the Mega Millions last Friday, alas. Although I never did quite check the ticket, I did see that the prize went up a couple million. Although its up about 11 million maybe? There's always that small chance of hope that I won a nice small fortune....hell I'd be happy if I won 2 bucks. That would make up for that scratch and win I bought along with Friday's lottery ticket. I thought i'td have a good chance at winning, but I won nothing on it. Not to mention it was a $2 ticket and the odds were 1 in 4.65. Hmmm I wonder. If I were to get 5 tickets, would I make enough to earn back the money? It sounds like a test I must try out soon along with my spending $20 on $1 tickets theory. The ticket was called Winner Snow and I just had to match 1 of 16 numbers with 1 of 3 numbers that I got or get a small cash wad symbol to win them all. It was fun though, i'm not that much in regret about it. I'll have to wait until I get some stuff settled to test my theories on scratch and win tickets. So chalk that down for another losing ticket.

I did manage to snag me a ticket for todays lottery though. Will this be the final time that my wishes can turn into reality? I hope so. My ways of buying stuff sure changed with the baby though, I now have plans to make a huge baby friendly house.....except the man cave. Which I will into on a later date. I'm so dead tired though, Between Friday and Monday night I got a total of 6 hours of sleep. I'll be sure to play some catch up and explain the man cave in detail later.

Current Assets

So now that I've got everything squared away with the first post about the idea and direction I want to go through, now on to the lottery stuff.

I'm still kinda bummed from the last drawing in which I won nothing. It would of been great to get a piece of that jackpot. So far I haven't won a single thing in the MMM and I've spent a total of $5 bucks this year, I missed a day or 2, but that shouldn't ruin anything in the project. Things had to be sacrificed. It's not Friday yet, but sometimes I like to get my tickets a day or so early. Is there a trend to this? The last person to win 300+ million here in Michigan was said to buy her ticket at the last possible minute in a gas station. Is that the right way for me? Seeing as how the final time to buy a ticket is 10:44 pm on a Tuesday or Friday means I'll have to be late. Forget having to go out in this sub-zero January weather. Maybe I'll go out in a summer night, but not in the cold. I did stop off to score a KFC Ultimate Cheese Snacker which is a great choice for only a buck and then I decided to just get my ticket today. My baby boy is due any day now and my crazy addiction wants to get the ticket just in case I'm in the labor room waiting for my little son Chase to be born.

Isn't that something? I'm addicted enough to be worried about missing out a chance of a lottery winning when my g/f is about to have my child. But don't slam me yet, I'll worry but I'm not addicted enough to leave her side during labor to pick up a ticket. That's just pathetic and sad if I did so I'm just happy I have my ticket now. Got it at the 7 Eleven gas station near the airport on the corner of Northline and Eureka. Great place for slurpees and the employees there are always friendly compared to a few other places that give customers the stink eye. I hate those places, but at least they sell the tickets to feed my addiction. You think with the profits that the store owners get, they'd try to push the lottery just a little more. Maybe a sign advertising it out at the gas pumps or something like they do for the foods inside. They aren't personally getting money , but the odds of them getting it raise with each ticket!

Sitting here with me is my hopeful winning lottery ticket and a scratch and win ticket that's worth 5 bucks that i've yet to cash in after a month. I have until January 2008 so I'll keep on to it until I need it....or just remember to cash it in. It's the Cashword Scratch and win that has a film on top of a grid of letters via crossword. At the bottom is a collection of 18 letters that you scratch off to hopefully reveal a full word. The more words you get, the bigger payout. This gives me a little motivation to try scratch and wins more. I have a plan to spend $20 bucks one day on $1 scratch and win tickets and see how much the payout is total. I'll make sure to post that up here some day when I get around to actually scrapping up 20 bucks to blow on scratch and wins. That'll be all for today until my next Lottery experience.

The Beginning

Is it the beginning? Well not technically in this post, as the project I'm working on started January 2nd, 2007. Whats the project you ask? Well let me tell you folks. Last year, 2006, I calculated that there was a $17 dollar profit from playing the Michigan Mega Millions lottery jackpot every single chance I got, minus a couple times that I someway or another missed. AKA, vacation, work or just plain out forgetfulness. This year, I'm creating a blog that may be published into a book that I'll create to give the insights on what goes on in the mind of a lotto addict such as myself that thinks he's going to win it big one day and never have to work again.

A little bit about myself though. My names Cliff and I'm addicted to the Michigan Mega Millions lottery as well as scratch and win tickets. Not so much the scratch and wins as it is the mega millions. I'm currently unemployed with a baby due any day now that really doesn't have any debt other then my car payment. I graduated in 2000 and went to college to receive my Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Good choice, fun choice but right now, bad choice. Why? Well I've been in the business for 3 1/2 years making good money before I got unemployed 3 months ago and have yet to find anything in the field. After unemployment runs out I'll be working any possible job I can get my hands to support my family.

Now that I got the details of my personal life out of the way, you can see that I have huge amounts of free time to create new art for my portfolio as well as searching new ways to make money. After this year is over i'll make a book about this experience, put my page layout knowledge to use. Share to the world what goes on in my mind.

Here's a little insight about what I'll be sharing in this blog with everybody:
- Thoughts on the lottery
- Lottery winnings
- Lottery Scratch and Wins
- Lottery attempts
- What I did when I got my lottery ticket.
- Where I bought tickets at
- What I want to buy with lottery winnings
- How depressed I get when I don't win

Basically anything to do with the lottery in my life will be open for discussion as well as talk.

So here it goes the first post explaining everything. Have fun reading and expect a book or if I can't get a deal, an ebook that i'll distribute for a small price so you don't have to go through all these blogs, or if your cheap like me, just read the blogs.
